Added in Patch 1.0.1, the EMTV Player of the Year event runs from December 12 to December 31 in-game each season:

• One new Top-20 Players of the Year countdown email arrives daily
• Each email highlights a ranked player with a unique, fully localized write-up
• The December 31 finale reveals Player of the Year with full season stats: points, K/D, trophies, tournament MVPs, match MVPs, and match of the year

Every player in your save who qualifies receives personalized coverage — not just your roster. This creates narrative texture for long saves and gives you context on who dominated the global scene while you managed your org.

EMTV awards do not directly unlock transfers or cash, but they signal which players carry maximum market value and morale leverage.
